Financial Accountant

Our client is a leading supplier of advanced systems, technology and components for large companies. This includes being a teleport, satellite and terrestrial network operator. Their network supports international businesses all over the globe.

Currently they are looking for a motivated Financial Accountant living or willing to live in The Netherlands (The Hague region), United Kingdom (London region) or Germany (Munich region), who can work full time (32-40 hours a week) remotely and can start as soon as possible. Being fluent in English and Arabic both oral and written is required. Also, a strong affiliation with customs and practices in Iraq are highly desirable. This is a permanent position starting with a contract for 7 months or 1 year. Salary indication between 3.500 and 4.200 euro gross a month plus holiday payment, commuting allowance etc.

In the role of Financial Accountant, you are responsible for, but not limited to, the following:

• Accounts Payable;
• Accounts Receivable;
• General Ledger;
• Cash-flow forecasting;
• Budget preparation;
• Auditing;
• Wage processing;
• Participate in the monthly and yearly closing;
• Contact with external accountant;
• Handle the “financial” mailbox;
• Manual and procedure preparation;
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, procedures and policy;
• Financial reporting;
• Implementation and improvement of financial systems.

• HBO degree (business administration/ finance);
• Fluent in English and Arabic both oral and written;
• At least 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar position;
• Living in or willing to relocate to The Netherlands, United Kingdom or Germany;
• Willing to work remotely in a challenging international environment;
• Experienced Microsoft Office user, in particular Excel;
