Credit Controller Detachering

Our client is a dynamic, international organization in the region of The Hague. Currently they are looking for an Credit Controller who masters the English language & who can work full time/ 40 hours a week and can start directly/ as soon as possible. It is an advantage when you control the Dutch language.

The salary indication is 3500,- euro gross a month. It is a secondment position for 8 months. The chance of extension is high.

The Credit Controllers tasks and Responsibilities:

Billing:

• Ensuring absence of contractual discrepancies by cross-checking account managers entries against scanned copies of legal binding contracts;
• Contract activation in the billing module;
• Issuance of monthly invoices for leases;
• Update customer information in the billing system (as required);
• Ensuring integrity of the company’s customer database;
• Maintenance of original contracts library;
• Research to customer billing inquiries;
• Response to customer billing inquiries;
• General administration tasks that are associated with the billing function;
• Accuracy of the entries in the customer & database verification of completeness;
• Drafting of deposit and/or advance payment invoices;
• Production of manual invoices (e.g. ad hoc requests);
• Production of electronic bills (pdf) to be e-mailed.

Accounts Receivables:

• Regional account receivable report (for all regional sales directors and co-ordination of follow-up conference call);
• Preparation of account receivable exposure list;
• Pursuit of customers for outstanding payments;
• Update of cash forecast for Treasury department;
• Maintenance of customer correspondence files;
• Monthly account receivable cash forecast;
• Monthly account receivable (aging) report;
• Co-ordination of customer statements and reminder letters;
• Creation of monthly account receivable Reports;
• Allocation of cash receipts to customer’s account;
• Update of cash receipts worksheet;
• Reconciliation of account receivable sub ledger to general ledger;
• Reconciliation of account receivable accounts of subsidiaries.

As a Credit Controller you meet the following requirements:

• You have a diploma on at least the MEAO level;
• You have more than 5 years collection/credit experience;
• You have worked in an international environment;
• Excellent knowledge of the English language;
• Controlling the Dutch language is an advantage;
• You have excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
• Demonstrated self-starter with strong organizational skills and ability to manage and accomplish multiple tasks/priorities;
• Ability to work effectively in a team and multi-cultural environment;
• Strong customer service skills and a positive and professional attitude;
• Proficiency in interpreting financial statements and understanding financial accounting;
• You have a solid understanding of billing and collection matters associated with service-related contracts;
• Good PC skills, including excellent knowledge of MS Excel;
• Ability to accomplish tasks in an efficient, timely, accurate and customer-focused manner;
• You are able to accurately process transactions and run reports using SAP.
