What we offer the Operational Process Support Finance

Main tasks and responsibilities
Finance Programme Management leads and participates in projects related to finance. Within the unit, Finance Operations is responsible for the functional development and management of the applications used within the wider Finance, Tax and Control community, including Oracle Financials, Basware, Hyperion, CXO and Certent. Their goal is to improve the efficiency within the finance function and support the local and group finance units where needed.
The Finance Operations team currently consists of eight members with expertise in processes and the various applications which are used in the finance function. We are looking for an additional team member for the operational support role. Below you can find more information on what we expect you to do.
• Coordination of various requests from our internal customers in the local finance units;
• Guide the user community in supplying the necessary information for us to look into their requests;
• Support improvement projects in the financial domain in various ways;
• Ensure routine tasks are performed correctly in time;
• Monitor issues and follow-up with internal/external suppliers to get errors solved;
• Monitor the communication channels (phone, e-mail, chat, face-to-face, etc.) and follow-up accordingly;
• Align regularly with internal/external suppliers on open issues to ensure the next steps are clear;
• Create/update documentation for the finance user community, supporting the other colleagues.
Job requirements
• Fluent in English, written and spoken (Dutch not necessary)
• Good communication skills
• Eager to learn and capable of learning fast
• Experience with Microsoft Outlook and Excel
• Capable of working in a structured way
• Working independent based on a set of goals and regular tasks
• Knowledge of financial processes and applications is an advantage
