This opportunity is semi permanent, with the intention to enter into an employment contract with our client after a while. The salary indication is € 3.750,- gross per month.

As an Assistant Controller we offer you:

As an Assistant Controller you will have, but are not limited to, the following responsibilities:

• You will support the finance administration within selected regions, review and undertake key administration activities (General Ledger checks and reconciliations, month-end closing activities, invoicing) identify and implement process improvements;
• Supporting the Global Finance Manager in the potential acquisition of new entities, researching new prospects, providing support to the planning and organization of business meetings and providing a key point of contact to potential prospects;
• Supporting the financial integration of acquired entities, ensuring that process and system integration is transitioned into the existing methods and ways of working smoothly and effectively;
• You are able to take a key role with multiple systems (including Oracle Financials and internal business software) to provide super user support, training and guidance to finance staff across the world.

As an Assistant Controller you will meet the following requirements:

• A bachelor degree in accounting and relevant working experience;
• The ability to work accurately and with good attention to detail;
• The consciousness to meet fixed deadlines and perfoming well under pressure;
• A good understanding of accounting principles and processes;
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills;
• Experienced in process improvement, the ability to identify areas for improvement and share your ideas;
• Basic knowledge of Credit Management;
• Understanding of Oracle Financials and/or Hyperion could be an advantage;
• Strong analytical skills and high competency to work with Microsoft Excel;
• Good verbal and written communication skills;
• Mastering the Dutch and English language.
